The Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires is one of the best opera houses in the world. Opened in 1908 in the name Teatro Colon this theatre with 2,367 seats and standing room for 1,000 took twenty years to be completed. The theater was closed for 4 years and reopenned in 2010.
